VOMITING AND/OR DIARRHOEA
If your child has diarrhoea and/or vomiting
they mustbe kept off school
for
48 hoursfrom the last episode
of either vomiting or diarrhoea,
and
exclusion from swimming should be
for 2
weeks following the last episode of diarrhoea.
These are government guidelines laid down by The Department
of Health
If you return your child to school within the recommended 48
hour exclusion period we will be obliged to send her home.
TELEPHONE NUMBERS.
It is vital that we are always able to contact
you in case of emergency.
Please ensure that the School Office
has UP TO DATE
telephone numbers that are not permanently switched to voice
mail or answer phones.
Head
Liceare an ever present problem, please help us to keep it
under control by checking your child's hair weekly and treating
when necessary. Your Pharmacist will advise on the best
treatment available.
Medicines. If it is necessary to administer medicines in school please remember that
ONLY
medicines prescribed by a doctor and dispensed by a pharmacist can be given. A
medicine request form must be completed before the medicine can be given.

Asthma inhalers should be named and checked by the parents each
term.
Infectious
Diseases. Please inform the school if your child is suffering from a
contagious illness e.g. chickenpox, mumps or measles.
Measles There is growing concern about the increase
in cases of Measles in the North London area.
