Lower School

The Lower School comprises Reception, Form 1 and Form 2. The curriculum which  we offer is both challenging and creative.

Children are taught by our highly qualified form teachers supported by experienced teaching assistants. At this stage we offer specialist teaching for French, Music, P.E and Swimming.  Our small classes ensure your child has a high level of  individual focus and the opportunity to reach their potential in all areas of the curriculum.

Careful assessment of your child enables us to differentiate their educational needs, encouraging them to  achieve the highest standards while still embracing and enjoying  the challenges which make our Key Stage 1 curriculum so stimulating.

Your  child will be encouraged to take responsibility for their own learning by setting themselves  targets and evaluating their own work, thus laying down the building blocks for future learning, healthy development and self expression.

Children are encouraged to develop their speaking and listening skills by taking an  active part in assemblies and school productions.
