St Hilda's School

Final Thoughts From Form 6

Leavers Assembly

Form 6 Leaver's Assembly coincided with "Hippy Day", which is an integral part of their History lessons on the twentieth century, hence the somewhat strange clothing!

The staff and pupils were treated to a variety show of poems, songs and memories of their time at St Hilda's, as they said "goodbye" in their own inimitable way.

We wish all of them success and happiness in their new schools.

Below are quotes from some of Form 6 just before they leave us to take the next step in their education. Some of them have attended St Hilda's since Kindergarten and some have joined us at other times, all have fond thoughts and memories of their time here.

" St Hilda's has transformed me. I remember joining the school, a nervous wreck, with a mind full of Lego and cartoons. The teachers have taught me more than I ever learnt in the five years at my old school. My fellow classmates have become solemn friends of mine. All the activities we have done are amazing. St Hilda's is the best."
By Abigail

" St Hilda's has helped me build my self confidence and feels like a second home to me."
By Natalie

" St Hilda's has taught me to be independent, caring and how to make the right decisions."
By Shraddha

"St Hilda's is a very inspirational and helpful school. Without it I would not be where I am today."
By Mallaika

"St Hilda's has not only been a family and a home to me, but it has helped me to become excited and enthusiastic about learning. It has encouraged me to do well in my exams and with the teacher's help I have achieved my goals."
By Nadya

"St Hilda's is the best school you're going to get. It has supported me in everything I have done and has made me an independent, hard working pupil. Saying farewell as I leave to go to secondary school will be very hard as St Hilda's has become my second home."
