 Earl Attlee , Chief Whip at The House of Lords, visited St Hilda's yesterday. He was invited to meet the girls and discuss his family connections to the school. His grandfather Clement Attlee, former Prime Minister of Britain, was a pupil here many years ago, as were several other family members. He enjoyed meeting the girls who are members of the school house bearing his name and having a tour of the school.
