A Review of A Midsummer's Dream
Wednesday, 10 Mar 2010
On the 26 February The Young Shakespeare Company performed A Midsummer Night's Dream for the upper school. A Midsummer Night's Dream is about Hermia who wants to get married to Lysander but Hermia's dad wants Hermia to get married to Demetrius. So Hermia and Lysander run away to the forest and the story unfolds.
I really enjoyed it because it was very funny. My favourite part was when the people who work in the market, Peter Quince, Nick Bottom, Snug and Francis Flute try to perform a play at the joint wedding of the King and Queen, Hermia and Lysander and Helena and Demetrius. My favourite character was Francis because he had to be a girl in the play and this was very amusing.
